By car: From the A59: - The A59 comes straight into York and becomes the Poppleton Road. - Travel along this road past the new housing development on your left until you come to a set of traffic lights. - You will also see The Fox pub on your left. From the South: - Enter York on the A64 (York to Leeds road). - On the outskirts of the city, take the A1036 signposted York West. - Follow signs for the city centre. - After a mile you will pass the racecourse on your right. There is then a slight hill with traffic lights at the top; go through the lights. - At the next set of traffic lights, turn right on to Scarcroft Road. - Warrens is on the left-hand side, just past the park. At the roundabout that intersects the a19, turn right (signposted York Centre a19). Continue for 2 miles. The Grange is on the right hand side just beyond a footbridge. The car park is off Queen Anne's Road just past the hotel. From the South M1 and A1 Travel North on the M1. At junction 32, take the M18 link to A1 North. At junction 2 take the A1 North. Continue until the sign marked York A64. Then follow the directions as shown above. From the East - (Scarborough, Bridlington and Hull) Follow the A1237 (outer ring road) signposted to Thirsk. At the intersection of the A19 turn to York (City Centre). Continue for 2 miles. The Grange is on the right hand side just beyond the footbridge. The car park is off Queen Anne's Road just past the hotel. From Selby - via the A19 Go into York and follow the inner ring road signs direction Thirsk A19. Continue round to the North side. When you reach the sign to Thirsk A19 pointing to the right, follow this road for 500 yards. The Grange is on the left hand side, just beyond a Zebra Crossing. The car park is off Queen Anne's Road just before the Zebra Crossing. From York Railway Station Turn left out of the station towards the Minster. Cross the River Ouse via Lendal Bridge. Turn left into Museum Street. At the A19 (Bootham) turn left. Continue for 500 yards, The hotel is on the left, just beyond a Zebra Crossing. The car park is off Queen Anne's Road just before the Zebra Crossing. York is under two hours from London and two hours from Edinburgh by train. The station is then minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel is a mile on the left. From Thirsk a19 - follow the a19 through Shipton by Beningbrough, the hotel is approx. 3 miles along on the right. From the South & M18 Selby A19: Turn right onto the A64 and follow to the next roundabout where you exit left. Move immediately into the right hand lane and take the 2nd exit from this roundabout onto the A1237. At the 6th roundabout * take the 3rd exit onto the A19 (York/Thirsk). The hotel is a mile on the left *(Clifton Moor Retail Park is on the left between the 4th/5th roundabouts). From the South & West A1 Northbound: Exit onto the A64 at Bramham Crossroads keeping left towards York. After 11 miles on the A64 turn left onto the A1237. Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout and follow the A1237 through the next 3 roundabouts. After crossing the river bridge, keeping in the left hand lane, turn left at the 4th roundabout onto the A19 (York/Thirsk). The hotel is a mile on the left. From the East and from Hull: Approach the A1079/A64 flyover junction in the right hand lane and after turning right at the flyover's 2nd traffic lights move into the left lane, through the flyover's 3rd traffic lights and join the A64 down the slip road. At the next roundabout, exit left and immediately move into the right hand lane and take the 2nd exit from the roundabout onto the A1237. At the 6th roundabout * take the 3rd exit onto the A19 (York/Thirsk). The hotel is a mile on the left* (Clifton Moor Retail Park is on the left between the 4th/5th roundabouts).
