By car from the North: - Follow the M6 motorway and exit at junction 44, heading west through Carlisle onto the A595. - Take the Cockermouth bypass and join the A66 for Workington. - Turn left onto the A595 for Whitehaven and after travelling about 600 yards you will find a sign for the hotel on the right hand side. - Continue for a further 200 yards and you will find the entrance on your right. By car from the south: - Exit the M6 at junction 40 signposted Penrith. - Continue west along the A66 and bypass Cockermouth. - Turn left onto the A595 for Whitehaven and continue as above. The nearest train station is in Workington (2 miles), and the nearest airports are Manchester and Newcastle, both around a 2 hour drive from the hotel.

The Waverley Hotel, Workington, offers quality, exceptional value accommodation with a wide variety of room styles. The Waverley Hotel is situated in the historic coastal town of Workington, Cumbria. The Waverley Hotel is within easy walking distance of bus and rail terminals, local shops, theatres, parks, Workington speedway, rugby league and rugby union, Workington Reds football stadiums as well as other Workington central amenities. Nearby attractions include a variety of craft outlets and artisans producing beautiful gifts and momentos to remind you of your stay. We have 25 en suite bedrooms, 4 standard rooms and a selection of individually designed executive suites giving a maximum occupancy of 50 guests. All bedrooms contain the usual modern amenities with tea/coffee making facilities, colour tv, hair dryer, direct dial telephones, broadband internet access, luxury toiletries, tourist information, notepads etc. a separate ironing room is available, however executive suites include an ironing station, fresh flowers and complimentary welcome pack (wine, fresh fruit, still water and chocolates). Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.

From Junction 40 on the m6 take the a66 towards Keswick and Workington until you arrive at Workington. At the first set of traffic lights turn left and move to the right hand lane. At the second set of traffic lights turn right onto the b5297 (Jane Street). Carry straight on through mini roundabout to next traffic lights. Go straight on at lights (Oxford Street) and Gordon Street is the third junction on the right

Your comfort is our aim at this family-run hotel. Bar meals are served each night and only the freshest of ingredients are used. At a recent health inspection, we were awarded 4 stars by Cumbria Tourism. Resting by the A66 motorway for Workington, The Hall Park Hotel is situated opposite parkland and only a 2 minute walk from the town centre which has recently undergone a 45 million pound regeneration project. There are numerous golf courses nearby and we are a good base for the coast to coast cycle way.
