All rooms have been designed and decorated, for your comfort, using antiques and original paintings. Each room is individually named, therefore giving them their own character and ambiance. The rooms are located throughout the original seven houses and with its winding staircases and corridors it is easy to get lost within the labyrinth of The Feathers. The rooms vary in size and location, with some sited in The Feathers House - just 10 yards from the main hotel reception.

The antique panelled, award winning, Feathers restaurant prides itself on using only the finest and freshest of local ingredients. The kitchen, lead by Head Chef Simon Garbutt, has attracted acclaim from both home and abroad, as a beacon for fine cuisine. Daily lunch is served in the Feathers restaurant from 12.30pm until 2.00pm. Dinner is served daily from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Please note that the main Restaurant is closed on Sundays but the Bistro is available. for dinner on Sundays. A Market Menu is available. This runs alongside a Fixed Price Choice Menu consisting of dishes such as Seared Scallops with Salsify and Watercress, Roasted Rump of Welsh Heather Fed Lamb and Salsa Verde with desserts such as Lemon Posset and Sweet Pesto.

Originally seven separate houses, the hotel boasts character and charm with antiques and log fires. Woodstock is one of England's most beautiful and famous country towns. Constructed largely from Cotswold stone, its buildings date from the 12th century. It is host to a wealth of interesting shops, restaurants and historical buildings - including the Oxfordshire County Museum. Situated only eight miles from 'The Dreaming Spires' of the historic University of Oxford, on the edge of the spectacular Cotswolds and huddling next to the gates of Blenheim Palace - home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Woodstock has much to offer its visitors. Woodstock is just one hour's drive from London Heathrow, Birmingham and Cheltenham - Shakespeare's Stratford is a mere 45 minutes away. Due to the age of the building, there is no lift at the hotel.
