By car from the North: - Take the A34, travel past the Sutton Scotney service station and take the next exit leaving the A34 (signposted Winchester). - After leaving the A34 cross the next roundabout (straight on). The road will cross the A34 by way of a bridge and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit again, signposted Winchester (Andover Road). - At the dual carriageway look to move to the right and take the right turning at the break in the centre island (Harestock Road). - Travel to the end and turn left. Drop into a built up area and cross the 1st roundabout. - Continue up a hill to a 2nd roundabout and turn right into Chilbolton Avenue. - Follow this road to the end and turn right at the roundabout (Romsey Road). After approximately 300 metres take the 1st left turn into Sleepers Hill. - Drop down Sleepers Hill until you reach Sleepers Hill gardens on your right, at which time a drive will emerge on your left just past the lamp post. The Grange can be found at the end of this drive.

Southbound from a34 / m3 At the roundabout at Junction 9, take the exit A272 sign posted Winchester/Petersfield. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit Winchester/Southampton. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit signposted B3330 - Winchester. This road will take you under the M3 motorway. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit B3330 to Winchester/Bar End to the traffic lights. NORTHBOUND FROM M27/M3 Exit M3 at Junction 10 and follow the slip road to the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit sign posted Winchester B3330 and follow to the traffic lights. AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS Turn right and follow the road for approx half mile to a mini roundabout. Turn left and go over small bridge to the next roundabout and go straight across. You are now on Broadway and the Winchester Guildhall will be on your left. Take the next left into Colebrook Street and the hotel is situated 50 yards up on the right.

Heading south on m3: Take Junction 9 to Winnel Trading Estate. Follow road to Town Centre over roundabout. At the bottom of the hill cross the river and bear left and first right. Follow the one way system and take the second right into St Peters Street. The hotel is immediately on your right. From the south: Exit m3 at Junction 1. Follow signs for the town centre. At T-Junction (mini roundabout), turn left. At next roundabout turn right. Follow road to the left (signed 'All Routes'). Take second right. From a34 (Newbury): Take the Winchester exit. At next roundabout take the b3420 and follow to town centre. At the traffic lights turn left into main street. The Winchester Royal is in the 3rd street on the right.
