Rothley Court itself is a rambling manor, with beautiful gardens, steeped in history and concepts of freedom. The Knights Templar used Rothley Court and the 13th century chapel in the building can still be visited. Lord Macaulay was born at the Court. He, together with Lord Wilberforce, became the great 19th century reformers working towards the abolition of slavery.

All bedrooms are en suite and have a TV, DVD player with combined music system, tea/coffee making facilities, an ironing station, hairdryer and modem point.
There are also executive suites, one of which has a four-poster bed. Bedrooms situated in the main house overlook beautifully landscaped gardens in 6 acres of grounds with a trout stream at the end of the rose walk. Bedrooms in the Court Mews provide a higher level of privacy.

From the South:
- Exit the M1 at junction 21A onto the A46 for Leicester (North) and stay in the right hand lane.
- Take the 4rth exit for Loughborough (A6) and at the roundabout take the 1st exit for Rothley.
- Drive along the A6 for 1/4 mile and take the 1st turn off for Rothley, Anstey, Cossington and the Steam Railway (B5328)
- Continue for 200 yards to cross roads (pub on the right) and turn left down the hill into village.
- Continue over the bridge and take the 1st left onto Town Green Street.
- Continue up the hill onto Westfield Lane and out of village for 200 yards. The Rothley Court Hotel is set back on the left hand side of the road.
From the North:
- Exit the M1 at junction 23 onto the A6.
- Continue through Loughborough and following signs for Leicester then Rothley.
- At traffic lights turn right, down hill into village.
- Continue as above.
From the East (A47):
- Join the Leicester outer ring road, heading for the north of the city.
- At the Redhill roundabout, the outer ring road joins the A6.
- Turn right onto the A6 and head north for Loughborough.
- Passed through Birstall and after about one mile take the exit for Rothley, Anstey, Cossington and Steam Railway (B5328).
- Continue as above.
