Your hosts at the Shoe are Jeni and Aart Noordijk. We offer our customers every lunchtime and evening an appetising choice of home made soups and starters, varied main dishes and some irresistible, indulgent home made desserts. In good weather, you can enjoy your meal in the attractive beer garden. The Shoe Inn is a free house and has a good selection of draught beers and lagers. At any time, you ‘ll find 3 real ales on tap and an extensive choice of wines, spirits and all the usual popular beverages. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar. The Shoe opens from 11:00 to 23:00 Monday to Saturday and 12:00 to 23:00 on Sundays. Entertainment includes pool, dominoes, acoustic blues, Irish and folk music on Friday evenings, blues and rock on Sunday evenings. The Shoe Inn is the perfect retreat for a relaxing weekend away or a comfortable overnight stop. On our 1st floor we have 5 charming rooms, all tastefully decorated with en suite bathrooms, the facilities listed in "room descriptions".

Sample menu: Starter: home made soup of the day, home pate with crusty roll, prawn cocktail, vegetable chili pot with nacho crisps, Mediterranean vegetable risotto, warm salad of the day, baked brie fondue with crusty bread. Main course: Vegetable pasta bake, pasta dish of the day, macaroni with 3 cheeses, lasagna, pan fried chicken with garlic and herbs, salmon and basil fish cakes, trio of venison sausages or a trio of assorted sausages served with peas, mustard mash and onion gravy, chicken in a red Thai curry, steak and kidney pie, chicken and smoked bacon pie, fisherman's hotpot, braised shank of lamb, red mullet and tiger prawns pan fried with garlic, rib eye, fillet or T-bone steak, breast of duck, fillets of sea bass and fresh tuna steak. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:30. Lunch and dinner are available Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 21:00 hours, Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 and 21:30.
