Business guests will appreciate the room service, early morning breakfasts (optional) and secretarial support. Additional facilities include a large car park, wheelchair access and ground floor bedrooms.

All bedrooms feature flat-screen TVs, movies, J2O drinks and handmade chocolates. A trouser press and iron/ironing board are available upon request.

The bar is set in the oldest part of the hotel and features a real log fire and exposed stone walls. It serves an extensive and reasonably priced wine list with at least 10 wines available by the glass. The current draught range consists of Carlsberg, Stella, Hoegaarden, Marsdens Smooth, Banks Cask (subject to availability), Guinness and Strongbow. The lounge is open throughout the day for real coffees, drinks and light snacks. Head chef Fred and his team pride themselves in using freshly cooked local and seasonal produce wherever possible. They seek to delight you with delicious, well presented food in a relaxing atmosphere. Booking is strongly advised, especially at weekends and during busy periods.

Whether you stay in one of our traditional inn rooms in the main hotel, or in one of the contemporary new rooms in the converted stables, you’ll find that every room has its own theme with curtains, plump cushions and carefully chosen furniture. Pickering in North Yorkshire is approximately 200 miles from London and can be reached via the M1 or A1, then A64 and A169. Travelling to The White Swan Inn by Car From the South A1 or A1/M1 link road to A64 (York) to Malton, first left off roundabout, A169 to Pickering roundabout, first left off roundabout and first right to cross over the road up on to the Market Place. The White Swan Inn is half way down on the right hand side. Travelling to The White Swan Inn by Car From the North A19 or A1 turn off to take A170 Thirsk which will take you through Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside. Once in Pickering take a left at the traffic lights and first right at the cross roads on to the Market Place. The White Swan Inn is half way up on the left hand side.
