There are several golf courses in the area, including Cape Cornwall Golf Club, worth a round for its fabulous views alone. Mousehole is a distinct and independent village steeped in history and customs. It is one of Cornwall's finest traditional fishing ports and retains its great character despite fishing decline. Mousehole lies on the western shores of Mount's Bay, a few miles south of Penzance. Tiers of cottages and houses climb the steep slopes above the sheltered bay of Mousehole's granite-walled harbour. Narrow streets and alleyways meander in and out of light and shade.
