The hotel has 24 rooms and most of the rooms have breathtaking views across the historic harbour or the estuary. By prior arrangement, the hotel can provide flowers, chocolates, a basket of fruit, champagne and glasses in your room on arrival.

Using fresh local produce and fish straight from the quay, we offer an extensive menu of fish and seafood dishes complemented by a fine selection of wines. Pescadou Restaurant was awarded 'runner up' for Restaurant of the Year at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2003. The award recognises excellence in all aspects of food preparation and service, together with the extensive use and promotion of fresh local ingredients.

A pedestrian ferry runs daily from Padstow to Rock. Boat cruises and speed boat trips are available at the quayside. Mackerel fishing trips can be arranged at reception. The Camel Trail - once the old railway line - provides miles of cycling along the banks of the river. Camel Cycle Hire is available in the town. Many gardens are in close proximity, including the well known Lost Gardens of Heligan. Old Custom House is situated approximately 20 minutes’ drive from the internationally known Eden Project.

By Car: - Take the A30 through Cornwall, then follow the signs for Padstow (A389). - When in Padstow, follow the signs for the harbour. - The car park is situated on the right-hand side of the road just before the harbour. - The Old Custom House is situated on the left-hand side of the road. By Public Transport The nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway, and the nearest airport is Newquay.

Deposit Information: A GBP 30 deposit is charged per room, per night. If you cancel less than 24 hours before you're due to arrive then you will forfeit your deposit. A pay and display car park is situated directly across the road from the Old Custom House. A fee of GBP 6 is payable for a 24-hour stay. Weekly rates are available.

The quaint port of Padstow has been much in evidence with the successful TV series showing Rick Stein's love of fresh seafood. From the harbour it is possible to take boat trips as well as the ferry across to Rock. The Camel Trail, which winds around the estuary to Wadebridge on the track bed of the old railway line, is ideal for walking or cycling. Excellent bike hire is available for all the family at either Padstow or Wadebridge. Newquay has night-life, and a zoo for children to visit. There are numerous picturesque beaches, not forgetting the famous surfing beach - Fistral Bay. Boscastle is a lovely little harbour in a landlocked area of the sea, with a narrow entrance. Lands End is the most westerly part of Cornwall, and is rugged and fascinating.
