This modern hostel is situated in a magnificent part of the Western Scottish Highlands, in the village of Onich, midway between Ben Nevis and the Glencoe mountain ranges, just 15 minutes from each. Inchree is a small hamlet situated at the north end of Onich village. It is just 500 metres from the Corran ferry, which provides ferry access to the beautiful Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Inchree Lodge is a 4-star hostel, as certified by the Scottish Tourist Board. There is an adjoining pub and restaurant and the lodge’s facilities include a well-equipped communal kitchen, should guests wish to self-cater. The kitchen is also a common room, with tourist information and a TV, DVD player and stereo. A self-service continental breakfast is available in the kitchen until 09:45. Inchree Lodge is a modern, purpose-built residence which offers twin, triple and family rooms at competitive rates.

Inchree Centre is situated 8 miles south of Fort William and 5 miles north of Glencoe, at the north end of Onich village, just 200 metres off the A82 main road, in the hamlet of Inchree. From the south: - 3 miles north of Glencoe, on the A82, you cross a large green bridge over Loch Linnhe (Ballachulish Bridge). - 1 mile further on, you'll enter Onich village. - Drive straight through the village and past a takeaway food stop on the right called 'The Pond'. - Continue through a few bends until the road straightens and goes over a flat bridge. - Immediately over the bridge is the turning to Inchree on the right (look out for the Inchree sign and our sign, both on the left) - Drive up the lane for 200 metres and you'lll see our entrance. Whilst on the A82, if you get as far as Corran Ferry, (A car ferry that crosses Loch Linnhe. Will be on your left.) you've gone too far. Turn around and drive back 1 kilometre to the Inchree turn-off on the left. From the north: - Leave Fort William and go south on the A82 towards Onich. - After 8 miles you will see the turning to Corran Ferry on the right. Carry straight on for about 1 kilometre through a few bends until the road straightens. - At the end of the straight is the turn-off to Inchree on the left. - Then, as above. By Coach/Bus: Inchree Centre is a 2-minute walk from the nearest coach-stop. The driver will drop you off on request - ask him to let you off at Corran Ferry. From the stop, walk south (not north, which is towards the ferry terminal) on the pavement until you see Inchree's sign on the road corner. Cross the road here and you will find it. By Rail: The nearest rail terminal is in Fort William. From Fort William, you either get bus or a taxi to Inchree.

Please note that the lodge is not situated in the town of Fort William - it is a 15 minute drive south of Fort William in a rural location, with limited public transport available.

The inn is ideally located for Mull, Iona, Skye, Ben Nevis, Fort William, Ardnamurchan, Glencoe, Oban, Loch Ness and for touring the West Highlands. Please note that the quickest way to get to the inn is via a 3 minute ride on the Corran Car Ferry.

The Inn is located 8 miles south of Fort William on the opposite side of Loch Linnhe. By Car From the South: - 2 miles after the village of Onich, turn left for the Corran Ferry. - Take the ferry across Loch Linnhe and the inn is directly in front of you as you disembark. From the North: - In Fort William, take the A82 for Glasgow. - After 7 miles, turn right for the Corran Ferry. The ferry runs from 06:30 to 21:30 Monday to Saturday and from 08:30 to 21:30 on Sundays. Crossings are twice per hour in each direction and take approximately 2 minutes. The ferry is a modern car ferry and can carry up to 35 vehicles. Please note that the Corran Ferry does not run on 25 or 26 December, or on the 1 and 2 January. If the ferry is not running, you are able to get to us via the A830 and A861 roads.
