Having bought the hotel in 2006, the owners have carried out extensive refurbishments to several rooms and the entire ground floor, which was completed February 2008. The hotel has 3.5 miles of exclusive fishing rights for salmon and trout on the beautiful River Garry and Loch Oich - available at an exclusively reduced weekly or daily price for residents.

All Rooms are en suite and have views over the gardens or the River Garry. River View Rooms are larger and have either more room or are newly refurbished.

Food is offered in the informal Bar/Restaurant. You can choose from an extensive menu of bistro bar food. The entire menu is based on local food purchased from local suppliers, freshly prepared on site by the team of chefs under the supervision of Head Chef James Murphy. Highland game, seafood and fish caught off the West Coast of Scotland, meats from Lochaber and Aberdeenshire and homemade baked goods all appear on the menu regularly. A choice of whiskies and ales accompany the meals. Please note that this will not suit customers looking for formal surroundings or formal dining.

Ideally located centrally in the Highlands the Hotel is a perfect location for touring the entire Highlands or just quietly escaping it all in peace by the River. By Air Inverness Airport is 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car. Transport can be arranged for collection from and delivery to the airport. By Rail Spean Bridge and Fort William have links to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Both Spean Bridge and Fort William stations are 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Collection can be arranged. By Bus: Citylink buses stop outside the hotel for links to Glasgow, Inverness, Fort William and the Isle of Skye

Check-in is from 14:00 - 22:00. Please note that all rooms are accessed by stairs. There are no lifts or escalators as this is an old building.
