The George Hotel is situated in the centre of Cheltenham Spa, on a tree- lined avenue, two minutes walk from the town centre. From M5: Leave the M5 at junction 11 (not 10 or 11a) and follow signs for Cheltenham. At the traffic lights (T.G.I. Fridays will be on the right), follow the fork to the left. Keep straight on this road, past the train station and over the mini roundabout. At the next set of lights turn right into St Georges Road. The hotel is approximately of a mile on the left. From the M4 and Swindon: Leave M4 at Junction 15, taking the A419 towards Cirencester, before reaching Cirencester take the A417 sign posted Gloucester & Cheltenham. Carry on the A417 for about 14 miles, at the Air Balloon Pub turn left at the roundabout onto the A436 to Gloucester for about 2 miles, then turn right onto the A46 to Cheltenham. Continue following signs for Cheltenham Town Centre via the Shurdington Road and Bath Road. Joining the one way system, turn left into Oriel Road, carry on over a set of lights, as you approach a second set of lights try and get into the middle lane (the Town Hall should be on your left). Go straight over the lights and across the Promenade. ATTENTION - The traffic flows right, you need to go straight on, into St Georges Road. The hotel is on the right hand side just after the next set of lights. From the A40: Enter Cheltenham following signs for the town centre. Follow the one way system into Bath Road and go over the lights until you reach a junction next to the Playhouse Theatre. Turn right into Oriel Road, carry on over a set of lights, as you approach a second set of lights try and get into the middle lane (the Town Hall should be on your left). Go straight over the lights and across the Promenade. ATTENTION - The traffic flows right, you need to go straight on, into St Georges Road. It was converted to a hotel in the 1980s. It is set in beautiful gardens, where drinks may be enjoyed on summer evenings. Our comfortable lounge is the perfect place to relax with a good novel, enjoy either a complimentary cappuccino, or a drink from our Trust Bar (sorry, not complimentary!), before going out for dinner. The hotel is situated on the a46 Shurdington Road, which is the extension of Bath Road. From Oxford on the a40, look for the sign of the a46 Stroud & Shurdington. At the roundabout in Bath Road, take the right hand road at the Norwood Arms Pub. The hotel is 200 yards on the left after the pub, before the traffic lights. From the m5, take exit 11 and follow signs to Cheltenham. At the first roundabout (Golden Valley) exit roundabout at 2 o'clock towards Shurdington. Go over several little roundabouts, always following the signs to Shurdington. Ignore all signs for Cheltenham. Eventually on a straight road, you will go past Morrisons supermarket on your left. On the next T- junction/roundabout follow the sign to Cheltenham. After one mile, and passing through pedestrian lights, you will reach traffic lights at a crossroad junction, go straight over and the hotel is the fourth property on your right.

Payment Information: For bookings of 4 rooms or more, Beaumont House will charge your credit card with a 25% non-refundable deposit. This will be done either at the time of booking or 6 weeks before arrival, as appropriate. For bookings coinciding with race meetings, 100% (non-refundable) will be charged at the time of booking. Additional Cancellation Policy Information: The 72-hour cancellation policy is based on being advised before 12:00 (noon), 3 days before arrival. Otherwise the appropriate cancellation charges will apply (see cancellation policy section for details). All cancellations must be processed online, not direct with Beaumont House. Should guests shorten their booking after arrival (e.g. leave after 2 nights having booked for 3), the standard 72-hour cancellation policy will still apply. Over the Christmas and New Year period, a 21-day cancellation policy applies, with the 1st night being charged 21 days before arrival. If in doubt, please contact Beaumont House for clarification, using the contact information provided on your booking confirmation email. Minimum Stay: On certain days (Saturdays) and at certain times (festivals and events), a minimum stay policy applies. For example, if you book for the 2 nights Friday and Saturday, and later wish to cancel the Friday night, this will not be possible. Additional Child Policy Information: Children over the age of 10 are welcome during the week. Children of any age are welcome at weekends. However, please note, cots and high chairs are not always available at the hotel.
