All rooms are en-suite, with a colour TV and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have central heating and nearly all are double glazed. Baby listening and wake up calls are available at no extra charge. Balcony rooms are available but must be booked well in advance (check availability). The hotel has a well-deserved reputation for courteous, attentive service, varied cuisine (our evening dinner is 5-course) and an accompanying well-stocked cocktail bar. It is one of the few remaining hotels in Blackpool to continually achieve a coveted 2-star AA rating.

By Car: - At junction 32 leave the M6 motorway onto the M55 heading to Blackpool. - At the end of the M55 bear left and follow the signs for the Airport (Squires Gate Lane) - Continue past the airport over the bridge to the seafront. - At the traffic lights, turn right onto the promenade. The hotel is 600 m along on the right-hand side, just past the Glitter Ball. The hotel would appreciate an estimated time of arrival.

Your daily dining experience starts with a full English and buffet-style breakfast. Bar snacks are available between 11:30 and 23:30. Your evening meal is taken from our table d'hôte menu, which is prepared by our kitchen team, headed by Mr Steven Glover, All dishes are prepared from as much local fresh produce as possible. We also cater for all types of dietary requirements (inform reception when booking or on arrival) and have a children’s menu. Our bars are fully stocked with beers and spirits from around the world and a wine list to complement our menus.

It would be appreciated if you could give an approximate time of arrival.

By car: Take the M55 sign posted to Blackpool. At the end of the motorway join the A5230 onto Yeadon way. Follow the signs for Blackpool Town Centre then head for the Promenade. Proceed along the seafront until you pass the Tower and reach the North Pier, we are the hotel situated on the left. By Train: We are approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station, there is however a taxi rank situated outside the train station. By Coach: We are approximately 2 miles from the coach park.

By Rail: Blackpool North Station is only 1 km from The Bedford Hotel. Regular trains to and from Preston take just half an hour. Tram and Bus Stops outside the Hotel for your convenience.

Travel North along the sea front (sea on your left) past the Tower on your right, then the North Pier on your left. At this point the road bears right around the Metropole Hotel (where the tramlines cross onto the road), Turn 2nd right after the Metropole Hotel (Cocker Street). Continue for 50 yards and turn left at the crossroads. We are the first hotel on the left.

By Plane: Blackpool international airport is 1.5 miles away from the hotel. By Train: Blackpool Pleasure Beach station is 0.2 miles away. By Tram: The nearest tram stop is approximately 100 metres from the hotel. By Road: From the M6: - Take the M55 to the very end (junction 4). - Follow the signs for Blackpool Airport and continue to the seafront. - Turn right towards the tower and after about 1 mile you will notice a large mirror ball on the promenade. - Almost immediately at this point there are 2 turnings on the right. - Take the 2nd of these into Bourne Crescent. - The Waldorf is situated at the centre of the crescent, overlooking the promenade.
