By Air: Charter flights into Blackpool Airport can be arranged from anywhere in Britain via Ryan Air and Jet 2. Manchester Airport is only 100 km south of Blackpool and has daily flights to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Belfast and London Gatwick. By car: Take the M55 sign posted to Blackpool. At the end of the motorway join the A5230 onto Yeadon way. Follow the signs for Blackpool Town Centre then head for the Promenade. Proceed along the seafront until you pass the Tower and reach the North Pier, we are the hotel situated on the left. By Train: We are approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station, there is however a taxi rank situated outside the train station. By Coach: We are approximately 2 miles from the coach park.

Palms is close enough to be convenient yet far enough away to offer a little peace. We are situated just 50 metres from the Queen's Promenade in the very popular North Shore area of Blackpool. Trams and buses are just a minute's walk away. Alternatively, if you are ready to take in the air, the North Pier, Tower and town centre (with its shows and the Winter Gardens) are about a mile stroll away. If speed and comfort are the order of the day, trams and buses run frequently and the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Water World are a 20-minute tram ride away. The golden Blackpool sands are just a 5-minute walk, or for the golfers, North Shore Golf Course is only half a mile away. For the enthusiast, Lytham St Annes and the famous Open Course are only a 20-minute drive away.

By Car: - Exit the M55 at junction 4, taking the 3rd turning at the roundabout (A585 North Shore). - Continue through 2 sets of lights (last one has KFC/McDonald's/Pizza Hut on left). - At the next lights turn right (signed Zoo, Hospital and Illuminations Traffic). - Continue for 1.5 miles past the hospital and at next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the dual carriageway. - Continue for about one mile (over 2 roundabouts), through traffic lights and over a railway bridge. - At the next lights turn left (Warbreck Hill Road) and continue for 0.75 miles (over a roundabout) until you reach promenade at Gynn Square (roundabout with illuminations lightening tree). - Turn right onto promenade and Empress Drive is the 3rd turning on right. The Palms is 50 yards on left. By Train/Bus/Plane: A taxi is the best way to reach us from the stations and airport. Call the hotel directly to arrange a ride with the local firm.

Oban House offers a courtesy coach which operates most days to Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool centre and St. Annes. The Pleasure Beach is approximately 3.2 km (2 miles) south of the town centre.
