Breakfast is comprised of a full, cooked English-style breakfast, with toast, tea/coffee, and a selection of jams, fruit juices and cereals. There is a selection of hot meals available, served either in the dining room or in the bar. Also, there is a selection of lighter bites and sandwiches. Please note: as a family-orientated hotel, the Sandford regrets that it cannot accept stag or hen parties or any large groups of single-sex guests. Any damage, either intentional or unintentional, unless reported to the hotel management immediately, will be charged in full to the card used to make the booking. Unfortunately, single rooms are restricted to midweek reservations only, due to that all singles are actually small double rooms and are let in advance as double rooms at weekends.

Oakfield Private Hotel - Bed and Breakfast - Hotel information

We have a few TVs, hairdryers, an iron/ironing board and alarm clocks available for guests’ use (subject to availability). We have recently revamped the dining and bar area. Please note: we have steps to the front door of the hotel, and the dining area is downstairs. We only accept families and couples for our midweek breaks (Monday to Friday). Couples, families and groups (hens, stags and football/rugby fans) are accepted at weekends.

Oakfield Hotel is located on Lonsdale Road, between Blackpool's central and south piers. It is close to the coach station and the main car park. The football/rugby stadium, cinema and go-karting are within 2 minutes walk across the car park. The seafront and promenade are a 5 minute walk away. Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach are 10 minutes' walk away. Blackpool illuminations switch on by all three TOP GEAR presenters on 29th August till 2nd November. Firework championships every Friday in September.

By Car: - Take the M55 juction off the M6. - Follow the M55 all the way till you come to a roundabout (end of M55) go straight over the roundabout and straight over the next 2 roundabouts. - Go straight over the traffic lights and turn left into the car park (signed Lonsdale Road car park). There is normally a height restriction on the car park entrance. - Lonsdale Road is the only road exit from the car park and the hotel is based on the left hand-side, about half way down.
