From the M1 North: - Exit the motorway at junction 28 and follow the A38 to Derby/Burton and follow the signs for the A6 to Matlock. - The hotel is situated just off the A6 in Milford. - Turn off the A6 at the King William pub. - The hotel is approximately 230 metres later on the right-hand side. By Rail Derby station is 4 miles (6.4 km) away. By Air East Midlands Airport is 21 miles (34 km) away.

Belper is located 15 minutes by road from Derby and 30 minutes from Nottingham. Belper is 15 - 20 minutes from the M1, exit from junction 25, via A52 & A6 or 26, via A610. The hotel is located in the centre of town on the A6 and a few minutes walk from the railway station (change at Derby for Belper trains). Belper may also be reached from the A38 approaching from the south west. Leave the A38 at the A6 junction on the northern outskirts of Derby. Follow the A6 the northwards through Duffield and Millford to reach Belper in 7 miles.
