By Public Transport: There are regular train services direct from London Paddington and Waterloo to Bath, with an average journey time of around 90 minutes. Bristol Temple Meads is just 15 minutes away by train. By Coach: Frequent National Express services run from London Victoria Coach Station, London Heathrow and London Gatwick to Bath. From the airport: Bristol International Airport is just 15 miles from Bath. A Flyer Express coach service picks up passengers outside the airport every 30 minutes, from 06.00 - 23.45, 7 days a week. The bus then drops passengers at Bristol Temple Meads Station, where you can catch one of the many frequent train services into Bath (journey time approximately 15 minutes). A coach service also runs from Gatwick via Heathrow to the train station at Reading, where you can pick up a direct train to Bath.

All spa treatments need to be booked prior to arrival to ensure availability. Please contact the hotel direct, using the contact information provided on your booking confirmation email. Children can use the swimming pool between 09:00 and 18:00, if accompanied by an adult. They cannot use the other spa facilities. At the immediate roundabout take the third exit (right) still towards the city centre. Continue straight on for two miles, through four sets of traffic lights. After you pass Morrisions supermarket on the left, (at the fifth set of lights), get into the left lane and turn left. Cross over the river, passing the fire station and at the lights. Follow this road up Bathwick Hill and out of Bath for one mile, passing the University. When you reach the Limpley Stoke Viaduct and traffic light, turn left immediately after the Viaduct Pub. Continue up Brassknocker Hill for 1 mile. Do not turn off in to Monkton Combe; Barceló Combe Grove Manor is on the left half way up the hill opposite a row of cottages.

Henrietta Street, on which The Redcar Hotel stands, was designed between 1788 and 1792 by Sir William Pulteney and named after his daughter Henrietta Laura Pulteney. Three Georgian town houses were first converted into a Hotel in 1949. As the property in the golden location, it was later sold to an organization owned by the famous entertainers Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck, who then spent a large amount of money extending and developing this fine hotel. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities, hospitality tray and direct dial telephone. Conference rooms available for 2-70 delegates. Lounge and Bar on premises. The hotel is ideal for business or pleasure. Bath is famous for it's Abbey, Roman Baths, Pump Room, Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and the Jane Austen Centre etc. Bath is designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
