This unique privately owned boutique The House at Woolverton is set in 3 acres of grassy parkland, just 8 miles south of Bath.
This former rectory’s impressive original structure dates back to the early 19th century. Inside, the quirky décor in the bar, the conservatory and the rooms would appeal to those looking for something out of the ordinary. Each room is individually designed and decorated, with Far Eastern overtones reflecting the oriental menu available in the hotel’s on-site bistro.
There are no dress codes and guests are given the opportunity to mix with others if they so desire.
Food & beverage
The ever-changing menu features a selection of dishes freshly prepared daily by the hotel's resident chef, Kai Wang, from Shenzhen, China. The bistro’s informal ambience is the ideal background for the tapas-style dim sum and aromatic Malay curries which would appeal to all those who appreciate the finer side of oriental food.

Please note that for May, June and July 2008 substantial roadworks are being carried out on the A36 so the road is closed at Limply Stoke. During this period, access to the from the north would be via Midford and Norton St Philip. This makes no difference to the time of journey as this is usually an alternative route anyway.
