Situated on Broadway in the charming little market town of Shifnal in Shropshire, this Grade II listed inn s an authentic traditional pub with cosy, comfortable accommodation.
Originally built in the 17th centur, the Wheatsheaf Inn boasts charming original features and sensitively refurbished accommodation. There arejust 2 rooms, both of which have been carefully refurbished in a traditional style. In some parts of the acommodation, 17th century oak floors have been revealed and delicately restored. The original timbers and bems are still in place and remain a traditional feature of the inn.
The pub area also still features hugebeams from the building’s original timber frame, as well as low ceilings, real open fireplaces and traditioal furniture.
The inn is situated on the main road running through the village from north to south.The M4 motorway is within easy reach and the town’s railway station is within easy walking distance.
