Carefully retaining many of the original features of the property, Denehouse has been completely refurbished to ensure that you are provided with every modern comfort during your stay. During your stay you can take the time to explore the village of Bowness, with its many pubs and restaurants, or take a boat trip on the lake. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the leisure facilities at the nearby The Spinnaker Club in Windermere Marina Village.

All 7 bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated to a high standard and include: Egyptian cotton bedding and towels; luxury toiletries; flat-screen LCD TVs (in most rooms); radio alarm clock with built-in CD player; and a wine chiller. After checking into your room, the staff will be pleased to serve you complimentary tea or coffee with biscuits.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is a relaxed and informal affair, serving food prepared from the highest quality local produce and supplied with meat products from a local award-winning butcher. Breakfast is served from 08:45 until 09:30 in the bright and airy dining room. Start your day with a light, full or vegetarian breakfast from the extensive menu. Most dietary requirements can be catered for. Please advise us when you book.

Travel information

By Car:
- Take the M6.
- Exit at junction 36.
- Follow the A591 to Windermere.
- From Windermere village, follow the one way system heading out of the village towards Bowness on the A5074.
- After approximately 1 and a half miles, turn left at the mini roundabout at the bottom of the hill.
- Take the next left onto Kendal Road.
- Denehouse is situated just 400 yards further along on the right-hand side.
