Whilst staying at the Burnside hotel, you could visit the World of Beatrix Potter, have a cruise on Lake Windermere, or take a trip with the Mountain Goat up and over the passes if you dare.
Travel information
Leave the M6 at junction 36 following the A591 towards Windermere and South Lakes. Join the A592 immediately entering Windermere, following signs for Bowness town Centre. At the Lake shore continue past the Steamer Pier for 300 metres to the Burnside situated on your left.
