The Braeside is located just off the promenade in the quieter North Shore area of Blackpool.
The guest house is family run and caters for singles, couples and families and does not take group bookings.
The guest house overlooks Gynn Gardens and has a guest TV lounge and bar.

In front of the Braeside Guest House there is limited free on-street parking as well as a pay and display car park.
Dogs, with responsible owners, are accepted by prior arrangement. Please let the Braeside Guest House know if you are bringing your dog in the 'comments' section of the booking form. Please note
that your dog cannot be left alone in the room for more than 2 hours.
Room information
All rooms have en suite shower facilities with towels, teletext TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Both our family rooms have been totally redecorated and refurbished for the 2007 season.
Food & beverage
Breakfast is served between 08:45 and 09:30. Most dietary needs can be catered for - please advise the guest house at the time of booking.
Area information
Blackpool Tower (3 km / 1.5 miles) - Apart from taking a lift to the top of this 'mini Eiffel Tower', the tower also has a superb no animal circus, aquarium and ballroom.
Pleasure Beach (6 km / 4 miles) - The Pleasure Beach has 145 rides for all ages. Recommended rides include indoor dark water ride Valhalla , twin track coaster The Grand National and The Ghost Train. New for 2007 is the Infusion roller coaster. Entrance is free and unlimited ride wristbands can be purchased from their website or at the park.
Blackpool Zoo (3 km / 1.5 miles) - Blackpool Zoo is an excellent family day out and is located opposite Blackpool's main park, Stanley Park. Tickets can be purchased at the Zoo.
Illuminations (0 km / 0 miles) - The illuminations are 9.6 km (6 miles) of lights that run along the promenade. Make sure you see the showpiece tableaux displays in the North Shore area. The 2008 illuminations run from 29 August to 02 November. This is a free attraction.
Travel information
By Car:
- Go to the very end of the M55 motorway (do not take the North Shore Exit).
- At the end of the motorway, go into the far right line and go straight across the first roundabout (has modern statue in middle).
- Continue down the 'walled' road and go straight across the first mini roundabout.
- Go past the main car parks, the large Blackpool statues and Blackpool FC.
- At the car park exit, turn left (you cannot go right), then left again towards the promenade at Coral Island.
- At the promenade traffic lights, go right.
- Go along the promenade, passing the Tower, Hilton and Imperial until you come to the large Gynn Roundabout.
- Proceed across the roundabout, staying on the promenade, and turn up before the Savoy onto Willshaw Road.

Sorry, but the Braeside Guest House does not take stag/hen or group bookings.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 2.
There is no capacity for cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
