- When you reach Kingston Bridge, leave the M8 at junction 17, then keep left and shortly turn right onto St Georges Road (A804 signposted Aberfoyle A81).
- Upon entering Glasgow, head under the road bridge and at the traffic lights turn right onto the A804 (no signs).
- Keep in the left hand lane then bear left (signposted M8 East, M80, Garnethill).
- At traffic lights turn left onto the A81 (signposted Aberfoyle).
